Funeral services for Janet C. Love Lee, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with cremation to follow. She died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at the Hosparus Care Center in Louisville.
She was born May 28, 1929, in Rush County to the late Oscar H. and Bernice Gordon Love Sr. of Rushville. She was a book keeper and administrator in the financial sector and formerly worked at the Edwardsville Water Company in Edwardsville. She was a member of Jeffersonville Christian Church and Bethany Christian Church, Charlestown.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana Lee Collins and her husband, Rick, of Jasper; a son, Kevin W. Lee and his wife, Janet, of Borden; four grandchildren, Eric, Jonathan, Brooks and Ian; three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Brooks Jr. and Briahna; sister, Judith Haywood and her husband, Ron, of Indianapolis; brothers, Jack L. Love and his wife, Elsie, of Jeffersonville, and Oscar Love Jr., of Rushville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of Wayne E. Lee who was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II and died in 2003.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Burial of cremains will be with her husband in New Albany National Cemetery.
