Funeral services for Joy Marie Ballard, 56, of New Albany will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. She died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family in New Albany.
She was born March 4, 1956, to Catherine Ballard and the late John Ballard in Jeffersonville. She was previously employed at AAFES in Charlestown, Indiana and Dillard’s of Clarksville.
Survivors include her mother Catherine (Ulmer) Ballard; sisters, Vicki Pelfrey and husband Phil, Johnnie Riley and husband Richard and Linda Popp and husband Chris; niece, Sarah Parker and husband Sean; nephews, Caleb and Colten Popp; great-niece, Kaelynn Parker.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
