Funeral services for William Larry Crum Sr., 62, of Laconia, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany. He died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.
He was born May 31, 1950 to the late Willie and Goldie Young Crum, in Inez, Ky. He was united in marriage to Carol Jean Stewart on Nov. 28, 1978 and to this union brought three children to bless their home. He was a gifted mechanic and loved working on vehicles. He loved his ‘53 Chevy Truck but more than that, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Crum; three children, Lisa Pollard and her husband, Gary, William Larry Crum Jr. and Eric Crum; two brothers, Paul Crum and his wife, Shirley, and Cecil Crum and his wife, Penny; two sisters, Linda Penix, and Thelma Jacobs and her husband, Junior; and three grandchildren, Gary Jr., Taylor and Eric Jr.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 20.
