Funeral services for Ronald E. Haynes, 64, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in New Albany.
A loving husband, father and papa, he was an avid U of L Cardinal fan and an AA member. He was born Dec. 6, 1947, in Louisville, to the late Roy and Jewel Gibbs Haynes.
Survivors include his wife, Jerry E. Denkler Haynes; stepchildren, Michelle Morrison, Toni Meade, Kelly Cook and his wife, Becky, and Michael Cook; sisters, Mary Cane, Shirley Rice, and Marilyn Adkins; aunt, Pat Blanforb; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
