Funeral services for Joel S. DeMoss Jr., 84, of Okolona in Louisville, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road, Louisville. He died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Koch DeMoss; sons, Joel DeMoss, III and his wife, Deborah, Greg DeMoss and his wife, Theresa; daughters, Janet Messina, Kim Elzy and her husband, Jeff, Cindy Durst and her husband, Howard; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; special family, Stacey DeMoss and Ann Michelle Priest-Harrison; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Florence DeMoss; brothers, William and Albert DeMoss; and son-in-law, Ronald Messina.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday.
