Funeral services for Frederick E. Enteman, 95, of New Albany, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center.
He was a native of Jeffersonville, an Air Force veteran of World War II, and retired from Ford Motor Company as a supervisor after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #26 in Charlestown, the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post, the DAV and Wall Street United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Berra Enteman; his son, George F. Enteman and his wife, Teresa; his daughter, Sandra E. Chu and her husband, John; two sisters, Olga Nelson and Edith McKim; three grandchildren, Amy Worden and her husband, Jeremy, Amanda Harris and her husband, Chad and Jill Van Slyke and her husband, Doug; five great grandchildren, Chase and Addison Worden, Jackson Harris and Eric and Matthew Van Slyke.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Huber; and two sisters, Lyda and Iona.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or Wall Street United Methodist Church.
