Funeral services for James Edward Williams, 78, off Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at his home.
He was a member of Northside Christian Church and worked production at GE. He was a native of Green Hill, Ala..
He is survived by his daughters, Debra J. Daniel, of Louisville, and Teresa L. Cooley, of Mount Pleasant; brothers, O. Neal Williams, of Green Hill, Ala., and M. Bradford Williams, of Green Hill, Ala.; grandchildren, James Boman, Kara Lewis, Tara Connelly, and Kimberly McCrea; and great-grandchildren, Joseph Lewis, Ethan Lewis, and Ian Bowman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel K. Williams; father, Leon Williams; mother, Pauline Clemmons; and brother, Bobby R. Williams.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
