Funeral Mass for Marietta E. Auerweck Kaiser, 83, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Albany, with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Albany. She died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at her home.
The daughter of the late Joseph Edward and Mary Catherine Smith Auerweck, she was born March 22, 1929, in Louisville. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany.
Survivors include four daughters, Carol Bruner and her husband, Michael, of Sarasota, Fla., Mary Kay Dorgay, of Lanesville, and Barbara and Jean M. Kaiser, both of New Albany; two sons, John R. Kaiser Jr. and his wife, Annette, and Thomas J. Kaiser, both of New Albany; niece, Kathy Franke; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. “Jack” Kaiser Sr. and a sister, JoAnn Wells.
Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany. There will be a Rosary Service at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to either the Special Olypmics of Indiana, Alzheimers Association or Holy Family Catholic Church.
