Roy E. Simpson, 46, of Jeffersonville, died Monday, July 26, 2010, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Jeffersonville.
He was a welder for Robinson Foundry in New Albany, and was also employed at John Dillinger Dairy Farm in Jeffersonville. He was born Sept. 4, 1963, in Corydon, to the late Roy and Betty Marie Hall Simpson.
Survivors include his sisters, Rhonda Sult and her husband, Walter, of Louisville, RoseAnn Dixon and her husband, Roger, of Jeffersonville, and Christine Simpson, of Madison; brother, Robert Simpson, of New Albany; niece and nephews, June Haggard, Roger A. Dixon, and Jerry and Jake Sult; his ex-wife, RoseMary Simpson; and stepdaughter, Jennifer.
Following his wishes, cremation was chosen. Burial will be private at Fairview Cemetery, New Albany.
