Funeral services for Virginia Miller, 92, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died, going home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, with her dear friend and caregiver, Jennifer Jones, by her side.
She was the former Virginia Martin, a native of Washington County, and was a member of Advent Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Miller and his wife, Janel, and Mark Miller and his wife, Sharon; four grandchildren, Kimberly Miller-Miles and her husband, BJ, Brian Miller and his wife, Marlyn, Audrey Miller-Unnikrishnan and her husband, Nishant, and Rachel Miller-Romine and her husband, Dustin; and five great- grandchildren, Ethan Miller, Charlie Miles, Emma Miller, Elliott Miles and Johanna Miles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall C. “Shorty” Miller, a sister, and six brothers.
The family wants to extend their appreciation to the Hosparus team: Debbie, Amber and Candyce. Also, to Kat at Autumn Woods.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Advent Christian Church or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
