Everett J. Chandler, 87, of Sellersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Maple Manor Christian Home. Private services were held. E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, is in charge of arrangements.
He was a WW II veteran and retired repairman for Indiana Bell Telephone.
He is survived by his son, Ralph E. Chandler, of Jeffersonville; daughters, Elaine Blair and her husband Greg, of Otisco, Laurel Thompson, of Charlestown and Carol Tipton and her husband Stephen, of Charlestown; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Chandler; father, John Chandler; mother, Flora May Graves; grandson, Damon Blair; brother, Ralph E. Chandler; and sister, Mary H. Bennett.
