Funeral services for Edward Lee “Ted” Snoddy, 90, of New Albany, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Rolling Hills Nursing Home, New Albany.
He was born Dec. 17, 1921 in Bowling Green, Ky., to the late Robert and Mary Snoddy.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Nell Snoddy; son-in-law, Melvin Jantzen; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Snoddy, daughter, Catherine Sue Jantzen, and grandson, Melvin Lee Jantzen.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
