A memorial service for Elizabeth Seltzer Wheatley, 84, of New Albany, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Howard Park Christian Church, Clarksville. She died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Lincoln Hills Health Center, New Albany.
She was born in Louisville, and was a retired Claims Supervisor for Home Insurance Co. She was a member of Howard Park Christian Church in Clarksville.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Hall, of Clarksville; a son, John Wheatley, of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Robert Earl Hughes, of Louisville and Cleo Francis Hughes, of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Alzheimers Foundation of Southern Indiana or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
