Funeral services for Mary Frances Richardson, 84, of Charlestown, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Wedgewood Healthcare in Clarksville.
She was born on May 11, 1926, the daughter of Herbert and Viola Hatfield Horn in Grayson County, Ky. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Gray and Patti Burress, of Jeffersonville and Jeanne Hoffman, of Charlestown; sons, Randy and Cliff Richardson, of Charlestown, Steve Richardson, of Salem; sisters, Clara Turner and Ivy Horn, of Louisville; Alene Decker, of Clarkson, Ky.; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.C. Richardson in 1997 and a son James C. Richardson in 1989.
Visitation at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
