Funeral Services for Walter Leon Wallace, 48, of Jeffersonville, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery. He died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at his home.
He was a native of Trimble County, Ky., a truck driver for Carnes Trucking in Shepherdsville, Ky. and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa; sons, Walter Wallace Jr., of Louisville, Leo Sullivan, and Chase Wallace, both of Jeffersonville; daughters, Jessica Wallace, of Louisville, and Amber Wallace, of Jeffersonville; brothers, Robby Wallace, of Jeffersonville, Homer Wallace, of New Albany, Ricky, Raymond, and Jerry Wallace, all of Louisville; sister, Kathy Wallace, of Leitchfield, Ky.; mother, Jessie Wallace, of Louisville; grandsons, Jordan Christopher and Dylan Wallace; and granddaughters, Abigail O'Neal, Alexis Sullivan and Ciara Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Wallace.
Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel.
