James Gibbs, 71; of Charlestown
Funeral services for James Gibbs, 71, of Charlestown, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg. He died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at his home in Charlestown.
He was a retired truck driver, and loved to travel.
Survivors include his son, Russell Moore and his wife, Shirley, of Depauw; daughters, Danita Hacker, of Sellersburg, Debbie Brown and her husband, Frank, of Borden, Pam Braden, of Corydon, and Patty Crone and her husband, Rich, of Underwood; grandchildren, Bonnie Bratcher, Bob Braden, Carl Shedd, Amanda Meyer, and Michael Hacker; and great-grandchildren, Tatum Braden, Blaine Braden, and Conner Shedd.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m. today.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
