Norma L. Traughber, 82; of New Albany

Norma L. Traughber, 82, of New Albany, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany.

She was born Nov. 21, 1927, to the late Jesse and Mabel Gunther Albin in Harrison County.

Survivors include her sons, Rick Traughber and his wife, Marilyn, of New Albany, and Kenneth Traughber and his wife, Debbie, of New Albany; daughter, Debby Goodyear and her husband, John, of Hillsboro, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Traughber; and son, Dale Traughber.

Visitation and services will be private, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.

Kraft Funeral Service, Spring Street Chapel, New Albany, is in charge of the arrangements.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus-Hospice of Southern Indiana.
