Albert W. Richardson Jr., 79; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Albert W. Richardson Jr., 79, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Monday, June 22, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1929, in Macon County, Tenn. to Albert W. and Hattie Hance Richardson. He worked as a Marine engineer and was a member of First Baptist Church in Henryville.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Eversole Richardson; a son, Todd Richardson of Ashland, Ky.; daughters, Julie Medlock, of Underwood and Angela Medlock, of Henryville; sisters, Hazel McDonald, of Macon County, Tenn., Lula Kessinger, of Jacksonville, Ill. and Loretta Pontrich, of Westview, Ky.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
