Brian K. Horne/Dietrich, 30; of New Albany

A memorial service for Brian K. Horne/Dietrich, 30, of New Albany, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, at Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany. He died Saturday, June 27, 2009, following injuries sustained in a scooter accident.

He was a 1997 graduate of New Albany High School and a computer and music enthusiast.

Survivors include his mother and father, Billye and Steve Dietrich, of New Albany; a sister, Jennifer Dietrich, of New Albany; his girlfriend, Katie Flanagan; grandmother, Helen Shimp, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; grandfather, W. H. Shimp, of Brooklyn, Miss.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his niece and nephew dogs, Roxi and Arni.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lionel H. Horne; and grandparents, Austin and Caroline Dietrich and J. B. and Esther Horne

Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
