Danny Thomas, 57; U.S. Army veteran

Funeral services for Danny Thomas, 57, of Otisco, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, followed by private interment. He died Saturday, June 27, 2009, in Washington County.

He was a native of Louisville, was retired from the U.S. Army as chief warrant officer 2 and was a mail processor for the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors include his wife, Delores J. Boley Thomas; three sons, Roger Thomas and wife, Kim, of New Albany, Jeffrey L. Thomas and wife, Hollis, of Augusta, Ga. and Christopher Thomas, of Otisco; three sisters, Marie Wright, of New Albany and Ellen Daugherty and Alice Hines, of Clarksville; and two grandchildren.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
