Ellen Marguerite Thompson, 66; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Ellen Marguerite Thompson, 66, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at St. Anthony Church, Clarksville, with burial in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Jeffersonville and retired assistant manager of Yellowwood Terrace. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, Clarksville and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 18321 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her companion, Walter M. Jackson Jr., of Jeffersonville; two sons, Dallas R. Kopp and his wife, Belinda, of Bel Air, Md. and David A. Kopp and wife, Michelle, of Glen Burnie, Md,; two brothers, Kenny Richardson, of San Antonio, Texas and Frederick Richardson, of Jeffersonville; six sisters, Jeanie Sanford, Pat Liddick, JoAnn Isgrigg and Vicki Conlin, all of Jeffersonville, Debbie Youngblood, of New Bern, N.C. and Vanessa Adams, of Norfolk, Neb.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Coots Funeral Home will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
