Earl E. Budd, 66; of Clarksville

Graveside services for Earl E. Budd, 66, of Clarksville, will be Friday afternoon at Veron Cemetery in New Albany. He died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired logger who enjoyed nature and the simple things in life. At one time he went without his own medication to give money to someone he thought needed it more that himself. That was the kind of person he was. We are all thankful that he left this world quickly and peacefully without further suffering. We will miss him and are thankful for all the people who helped make his time here as good as possible.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Elizabeth Budd Faith; a daughter, Pamela “Suzie” Stacy; a son, Lee Budd; grandson, Lee Budd who helped take care of him; grandson whom he was very proud of, Dylan Rash; granddaughter whom he cherished, Misty Stacy; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Stacy; special sister whom he loved very deeply and shared a birthday with, Linda Rogers; brother whom he cared and loved, Richard L. Budd; and son-in-law who helped care for him, Richard Rash.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Budd; brother Jim Budd; and nephew, David Castile.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany. Graveside services will be held immediately following visitation.

In leau of flowers expressions of sympathy may be given to the family.
