Verna L. Rowe, 83; of New Albany
Funeral services for Verna L. Rowe, 83, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with interment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
She was a native of Eastern, Ky., and was a retired housekeeper at Mount Saint Francis. She was a member of the Harrison Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ralph England, of Port Orange, Fla.; daughter, Shirley Brown, of Deland, Fla.; caregivers, Linda and Bill Rowe, of New Albany; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernie England and Thomas D. “Jack” Rowe.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
