Fawna Sky Whaley

Fawna Sky Whaley; 15, of New Albany

A memorial service for Fawna Sky Whaley, 15, of New Albany, will be Tuesday, July 7, at Northside Christian Church in New Albany. She died Monday, June 30, 2009, in Cadiz, Ky.

She was a student at New Albany High School, enjoyed playing the cello and was a wildlife activist and enthusiast.

Survivors include her parents, James J. and Melissa A. Crosier Whaley; and brother, James R. Whaley.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Billie J. Whaley and Marilyn Crosier.

Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, is in charge of local arrangements.
