Mary E. Lee, 87; of Jeffersonville

Funeral services for Mary Eloise Lee, 87, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Weathers Funeral Home, 106 South Shelby St., Salem, with burial in Cave Town Cemetery. She died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana University and was a long-time member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Paul Lee; daughter, Marcia Lee Harlow and her husband, Robert, of Louisville; son, Randall Davis, of Jeffersonville; brother, Wayne Appel, of Peoria, Ill.; grandchild, Olivia Lee Harlow; niece, Christine Joiner Chapman, who lived with the Lee family for several years; and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, Jeffersonville, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and at Weathers Funeral Home, Salem, from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday,

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Southern Indiana and envelopes will be at the funeral home.
