Thomas James Jorden, 74; Army veteran

A funeral Mass for Thomas James Jorden, 74, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Sunday, Oct. 18, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.

He was a native and former resident of Ohio, and an Army veteran. He was owner and operator of Jorden Wallpaper in Clarksville until his retirement in 2004. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Teresa Anne Hoffman Jorden; children, Michael Jorden and his wife, Pamela, of Sterling, Va., Mark Jorden and his wife, Jean, of Bloomington, Ill., Matthew Jorden and his wife, Jennifer, of New Albany, and Maureen Campbell and her husband, Mike, of Sellersburg; and grandchildren, Meredith, Samanatha, Mia, Kylie, Luke, Evan and Liam.

Visitation will be at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
