LouAnn Smith Beckum, 76; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for LouAnn Smith Beckum, 76, of Jeffersonville, will be at noon Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at her residence in Jeffersonville.
She was the widow of Kenneth G. Beckum, and was formerly married to Warren Hubbard. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, and homemaker, and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksivlle.
Survivors include her children, Wayne Hubbard and his wife, Sherry, of Floyds Knobs, Barbara Ersham and her husband, James, of Floyds Knobs, and Kay Levan of Seymour; grandchildren, Troy, Angela, Kevan and Justin; sisters, Tennie Smith of London, Ky., and Alene Sanders and her husband, Charlie, of Charlestown; and brothers, Jack Smith and his wife, Alice, Charlie Smith and his wife, Nan, and Ben Smith, all of Indiana.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. today.
