Juanita Rose Ellingsworth Schlosser, 80; of Jeffersonville

Funeral services for Juanita Rose Ellingsworth Schlosser, 80, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in New Chapel Cemetery. She died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at her home.

She was born in Louisville, and retired from the Greater Clark County School system as a cashier in the cafeteria. She was a member of New Chapel United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Double H Square Dance Club and involved with Town & Country Home Economics.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Lee Schlosser; daughters, Jean Lee Snead and her husband, Rick, of Jeffersonville, and Patricia Vogt and her husband, Derrick, of Charlestown; granddaughters, Ashley Vogt and her fiancé, Scott Pace, of Charlestown, and Danielle Vogt of Charlestown; sister, Martha “Jane” Brangers, of Jeffersonville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnett and Ethel Ellingsworth; brother, Harold “Tommy” Ellingsworth; and sister, Norma “Sissy” Bond. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to New Chapel United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
