Myrtle Lorene Gilbert, 81; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Myrtle Lorene Gilbert, 81, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. She died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Sellersburg Health and Rehab.
She was born Nov. 19, 1927 in Wynn, Ark., the daughter of Joseph M. and Donna Moore Looney. She was a former waitress and a member of Full Gospel Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include four sons, Robert A. Emerson, of Modesto, Calif., Richard J. Emerson, of Memphis, Paul Ison, of Jeffersonville and Dexter Ison, of Sellersburg; two daughters, Sondra Robison and Vicki Lutts, both of Charlestown; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
