Michael D. Potts, 58; of Borden

Funeral services for Michael D. Potts, 58, of Borden, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Borden. He died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was retired from the Army Corp of Engineers where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of Borden Community Church and New Providence Masonic Lodge in Borden.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jo Ellen Hoke; a son, Greg Potts and his wife, Amy, of Borden; a daughter, Melody Shouse and her husband, Tim, of Highland, Ill.; two brothers, Victor and Dean Potts, of Borden; sisters, Betty Kearney, of Indianapolis and Joyce Baker, of Borden; and grandchildren, Duane, Drake, Kayla and Haley.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial contributions to Borden Community Church Building Fund.
