Clara Jane Wright Wallbaum, 99; of New Albany
Funeral services for Clara Jane Wright Wallbaum, 99, of New Albany, will be at noon Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Grace Lutheran Church, New Albany, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Floyds Knobs. She died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Rolling Hills Health Care in New Albany.
The daughter of the late Granville Thomas and Armilda Moody Wright, she was born Dec. 21, 1909, in Helena, Tenn. She worked at the former H. A. Seinsheimers and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany.
Survivors include a son, Gary W. Wallbaum and his wife, Bonnie, of Smyrna, Tenn.; a sister, Cora Smith, of New Albany; grandsons, Randall Wallbaum and Reagan Wallbaum; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Henry Wallbaum; a sister, Edith Linney; and brothers, Raymond and Selby Wright
Visitation at Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the church.
