Cuthbert L. Scott Jr., 92; of Hobart

A joint burial for Cuthbert “Bert” L. Scott Jr., and Wilma Marie Baker Scott will be at 11 a.m. on Nov. 21 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, near Chapel Hill Christian Church in Galena, with a family luncheon at 12:30 p.m., following burial, at the Hampton Inn, New Albany. He died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.

He was retired from TRW Systems as a director of purchasing.

Survivors include his son, Cuthbert L. Scott III and his wife, Patricia, of Valparaiso; sister, June Sledge and her husband, Earl, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; and grandsons, Brandon M.B. Scott of Valparaiso and Chad M. Scott of Noblesville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Marie Baker Scott; his parents, Cuthbert Sr., and Freda C. Scott; and son, Michael G. Scott.
