Family salutes L&D MailMasters
Kentuckiana has several reasons to celebrate, including the active involvement of many thriving businesses on both sides of the river whose focus is on the people, entities and communities they serve.
One Southern Indiana’s recent 5 O’Clock Network at L&D Mail Masters in New Albany shone a bright light on one stellar business that deserves public kudos.
L&D Mail Masters, which has given back to the community in generous ways in the last 25 years, not only opened its site to hundreds of people for 1si’s monthly networking event, but they chose to turn it into a grand 25th anniversary celebration, making it a party for everyone. The evening was complete with themed decorations, food, prizes, and festive camaraderie, punctuated by its enthusiastic and well-versed team members who hosted the crowd, led tours of the expansive and ever-growing operation, and shared extreme hospitality with personal attention to every guest and detail.
On top of all that, L&D’s customer service gets an A++ for the foresight of bad weather, since a torrential downpour didn’t dampen spirits. Instead, mini buses immediately appeared and shuttled people to their cars. Drivers, with smiles and warmth you’d expect in someone’s home, created for riders a festive tone in that unexpected, added party venue. It was a most thoughtful wrap-up to a delightful evening.
Thank you, L&D and team, for a wonderful treat. And Happy Silver anniversary!
