READER CHEERS

... to everyone involved in planning, building and maintaining some of the nicest parks around — those in the city of Jeffersonville.

When Bob Hedge Park opened, my family was so excited. How nice it is with the shelter, fitness path and bathrooms.

Just a few weeks ago, I “stumbled” upon a new park. This park, by far, is my favorite. Not only is it shaded with beautiful, tall trees, there is also a bench, on which to sit and watch your kids, and a picnic table to eat your lunch.

I love seeing the floodwall in the background and hearing the lunch and break whistles from Jeffboat.

Jeffersonville is a friendly, clean town and I wouldn’t want to raise my children anywhere else.
