SELLERSBURG —
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery and is looking for the public’s help identifying the suspect.
At about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a male subject entered the Days Inn Motel, located at 7618 Old State Road 60 in Sellersburg, and held up a clerk behind the front desk while displaying a black semi-automatic pistol, according to a police press release.
The clerk provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect then fled the motel on foot and left the area in a black or dark colored car, according to the release.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 to 9 inches tall and between 150 and 170 pounds.
He was wearing a black or dark blue, zippered hoodie, white T-shirt, black hat with a white design, light colored khaki pants and white and black high top tennis shoes.
The suspect has a mustache and goatee.
