> SOUTHERN INDIANA —
Providence’s home football game tonight with Indian Creek became the third area contest that has had its kickoff time moved up because of the impending severe weather expected to hit Southern Indiana later this evening.
Originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m., the Pioneers’ game will start at 7 p.m.
The two other games that have had their times altered are the North Harrison at Charlestown game, which will now begin at 6 p.m., and the Madison at Jeffersonville contest, which will start at 6:30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.
The four other area games tonight — Clarksville at Corydon Central, Floyd Central at Seymour, Silver Creek at Eastern and Bedford North Lawrence at New Albany — will still start at 7.
