Kimmel records top-10 finish at Pocono
Clarksville native Frank Kimmel finished sixth in the Pocono ARCA 200 on Saturday at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. It was Kimmel’s fifth top-10 finish of the season as he currently sits fifth in the ARCA point standings, 95 points out of first place.
ARCA point leader Brennan Poole won from the pole, as he led 77 of the race’s 80 laps. Chad Hackenbracht placed second, followed by Alex Bowman, Matt Lofton and Chris Buescher. Henryville resident Darrell Basham finished 24th.
ARCA’s next race will be Friday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich.
