• Borden drops SAC opener: Host Borden lost its Southern Athletic Conference opener on Thursday to Lanesville, 4-1. Braves’ No. 1 singles player Josh Vollstedt defeated Zack Robinson, 6-1, 6-4.

• Warriors win at Hidden Creek: On Thursday, Sydney Shrebtienko fired a 40 to win medalist honors and lead Christian Academy past Charlestown, which fielded an incomplete team, in a dual meet. Natalie Thompson paced the Pirates with a 41.
