NEW ALBANY —
IU Southeast’s volleyball team won the first two sets against St. Catharine on Tuesday, 25-14 and 25-23, before seeing the Patriots come back to take the next two, 25-17 and 25-14.
The Grenadiers then regrouped to take the final set and the match, 15-12, to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Sara Schum and Jade Troutman each had double-figure kills for IU Southeast. Schum had a team-best 13 and Troutman added 12. Each also had three blocks and Schum had a pair of aces.
Meaghen Tompkins had 43 assists to lead the Grenadiers.
