New Albany pancake fundraiser
The New Albany High School wrestling team is hosting an all-you-can-eat pancake fundraiser from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Applebee’s, 3030 Grant Line Road, New Albany.
Tickets are $7 each. They can be purchased at the door or by calling Darcie Peavler at 812-989-0988 or New Albany wrestling coach Eric Burres at 502-644-6832. All profits will go to support the Bulldogs’ wrestling team.

SIU tryouts
Southern Indiana United soccer club will have tryouts from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Prosser Field for the 2013 spring season for U15-U19 teams.
Players should complete the select registration form (available at tryouts) and bring a soccer ball, water and shinguards. A parent must sign the medical release on the registration form.
This will be the only tryout for these teams. If a particular coach needs more time, he can schedule an additional tryout.
There is a $10 tryout/registration fee, which covers the cost of the T-shirt. Southern Indiana United will accept only cash or checks made payable to the club. No credit cards will be accepted.
