Welcome to the new NewsandTribune.com

NEW ALBANY — NewandTribune.com has taken on a new look, a new interface and with these changes has created a user-friendly Web site.

The main change is the list of categories on the left side of the homepage, which readers can scroll over to take them to specific other areas of the Web site — categories like Clark County news, Floyd County, editorials, calendar or local high school sports.

The domain will continue to be shared with sister paper, The (New Albany) Tribune.

"The Evening News staff hopes our regular online readers, and those who have never visited our Web site, check out the new platform later this week," said Editor Shea Van Hoy. "Site visitors hopefully will take to using the menu on the left to navigate to sections of the site they want to visit."

Readers are encouraged to send feedback on the new design and offer suggestions. They can be e-mailed to shea.vanhoy@newsandtribune.com

"While change can be challenging, especially when regular features are moved around, I think readers will come to appreciate the upgraded functions and appearance of the new site," Steve Kozarovich, publisher and executive editor of the Tribune, said. "No content or sections are being removed so we'll do our best to help guide readers to there old favorites as well as highlight some new ones."

Readers are encouraged to send feedback on the new design and offer suggestions. They can be e-mailed to steve.kozarovich@newsandtribune.com.

Any other questions or concerns with the Web site can be sent to Region Editor Chris Morris at chris.morris@newsandtribune.com or Web Manager Kyle Volenik kyle.volenik@newsandtribune.com.
