NEW ALBANY — An excavator with Merrel Bierman Excavating, Inc., tore down part of the gymnasium at Wesley Chapel's complex along State Street in New Albany. Construction on a new church along U.S. 150 is scheduled to finish in 2013. New retail space will move in after the site of the old church is cleared.
