Walking the Heritage Trail

JEFFERSONVILLE — Bernice Slaughter, right, shares a laugh with Congressman Todd Young while outside of Taylor High School in downtown Jeffersonville Thursday. Slaughter is a former teacher at the school and was on the African American Heritage Trail tour.
